This meeting looked at issues related to exclusion and poverty within our city centre, and how this fits with our approach for building a more inclusive city. We also focused on the Inclusive & Sustainable Economy Framework itself, discussing structure and content, and discussed the launch event on 11th October.

Sarah Eldridge, Coordinator, Sheffield City of Sanctuary talked to Board about the background to Sheffield City of Sanctuary and the new Sanctuary Space, which has recently opened in Sheffield city centre (Chapel Walk) as a place where asylum seekers and refugees can come for information, advice and support.
